As the director of media, I manage all the graphic, web, and video needs for an active church. Besides coordinating and shepherding a volunteer team, I manage creative projects for multiple ministries, oversee building relationships through social media, and coordinate audio/visual needs for different events.

I worked in the creative services department of the Office of University Communications at Union University. My job included working with an in-house design team creating university publications and designing web content. Occasionally we discussed the alternate realities of LOST or brought our creative meetings to the disk-golf field.

In this position I managed the relational and logistal needs of a 38-person creative staff. Daily duties included working directly with videographers and photographers in various media production, handling technical problems associated with equipment and software, completing special design/photo/video projects, and leading our team to create with technical and artistic excellence.

My job included production and light design as well as set construction for a college theatre program. I worked as an integral part of the tech crew for 7 live productions. Every once in a while they released me from behind the curtain and let me perform.

WOW Conference, Missouri Annual Conference, Springfield MO (Jan 09, Jan 10)
Director/Creative Consultant; I was contracted as the lead creative consultant for a live conference with 2500 youth. I created 40 minutes of completed video; designed promotional material, screen content and signage. I managed a 15-person volunteer production team as well as a professional production staff. During the event, I was responsible for managing the call sheet and calling cues to our audio engineers, lighting designers, video director and stage managers.

Creative Arts Intern; job responsibilities included the production of video and graphic content as well as planning and implementing visual elements of lighting, architectural projection and stage setup in to a worship environment.
Program Director, CCYM Summer Work Camps, Columbia MO (Jun-Aug 2007)
I traveled with a small team of people to 7 different cities in the United States serving as a program director for mission groups attending our camps. On average, I worked with 150-200 youth/adults each week running the program side of camp. Other job responsibilities included photography, leading daily devotionals, visual worship preparation and public speaking.
