Director of Media,
First Baptist Church in Jackson, TN | since November 2010
As the Director of Media, I manage all the graphic, web, and video projects. Besides coordinating and training a volunteer team, I design mailouts, static and digital displays, interior/exterior signs, advertisements, web banners, and other promotional materials. In addition to design, I plan our social media strategy, coordinate audio/visual needs for events, and supervise my department’s budget.

I worked in the creative services department of the Office of University Communications at Union University. My job included working with an in-house design team creating university publications and designing web content. Occasionally we discussed the alternate realities of LOST or brought our creative meetings to the disk-golf field.

Pine Cove Camps in Tyler, TX | Summer 2010
I managed the relational and logistal needs of a large creative team. Daily duties included training videographers and photographers in various media productions, handling technical problems associated with equipment and software, completed special design/photo/video projects, and met frequently with team members to help improve their technical skills.
